Wedding Season – How to be the best dressed guest
From countryside to city, vintage to black tie, home or abroad… whatever the theme and location of the wedding you’ve been invited to this summer, we’ll help you put together the perfect outfit.
Before you start
When starting to think about an outfit, it’s a good idea to find out the theme, along with any specific dress code or requests from the bride and groom, and research the venue/location.
Look for pieces that won’t steal the spotlight, are going to be comfortable and items you can wear again after the wedding.
Wearing anything white, in-your-face or skimpy is a big no-no!

A pretty, feminine dress is a no-brainer – think ruffles, lace or floral. Statement sleeves are big this season too. Check out the options at M&S and Phase Eight.
