Mother’s Day Poem

Mum’s the word on everyone’s mind,

As they head to the shops hoping to find,

That special something to act as a way ,

to say a big thank you on Mothers’ Day.

Flowers, chocolate, jewellery or wine,

Hit the shops and take your time,

At Marriotts Walk you’re sure to see

The gift that says ‘you’re special to me’.

Does mum always dress in the latest fashion?

Or is the outdoor life her greatest passion?

While Monsoon makes dress buying fun.

Are all perfect to find something new,

Or maybe a cuppa is mum’s favourite treat?

But the gift of time is the best gift of all,

So, make a date with mum, you’ll both have a ball.

Then onto the shops to look for a treat.

Or what about a coffee and a chat

Make her feel special, make her feel proud,

For the help that she gives all the year round.
