Half Term and Halloween at Marriotts Walk

Where does the time go?! The kids have only just gone back to school, and then out of nowhere, it’s the half term holidays!

We’ve got some fun ideas to keep them entertained.

Top tips and even a free event, so you’ll be sorted for the week leading up to Halloween.

Frankie & Benny’s

At Frankie & Benny’s, kids eat free until 31st October! To get this offer and any others, you need to check out their website. The voucher entitles the bearer to one free ‘smaller’ or ‘bigger’ kid’s meal from the kids menu when an adult main is purchased from the main menu. Choose from mains such as Spaghetti Bolognese, Cheesy Tomato Pizza Duo with two toppings, Mini Grilled Chicken Skewers and much, much more. The desserts sound amazing too!

Did you know? Frankie & Benny’s also do ‘Kids Eat Free Fridays’ until the end of the year!

Café Rouge

Café Rouge has a lovely little menu for kids – they can choose a starter, main, dessert and soft drink – all for £6.95! Poulet Goujons, Bangers et Mash and Pasta are just a few of the ‘délicieux’ options. How grown-up.

Subway

You may already know that Subway offer a ‘Kids’ Pak’, which includes a small sub sandwich, a drink, a snack and a toy. At the moment it’s all about Matchbox Sky Busters and My Mini MixieQ’s bracelets. Prices and offers vary, so always check with the store before ordering.

Caffe Nero

Out shopping and fancy a quick stop-off for a hot drink and something sweet? There are plenty of delicious drinks for the kids at Caffe Nero whilst you get your caffeine fix – Hot Chocolate, a Babyccino (Cappuccino without the coffee!) or a Milkshake will all put a smile on their face. As always, there’s a fabulous selection of tasty treats too – Panini & Sandwiches, Cakes & Muffins and Snacks.

Half term – get them cold-weather ready with the latest clothes and accessories from Accessorize, Debenhams, Dorothy Perkins, Fatface, JoJo Maman Bebe, M&S and Monsoon. Some of our retailers at Marriotts Walk may not stock everything in store, so it’s always best to call the store first if there’s something specific you’re after, or order online and do Click & Collect!

MW_Oct_HT_cineworldAfter long walks in crisp autumn leaves, doing arts and crafts and exhausting your collection of DVDs, what’s left? Check out what’s on at Cineworld this Half Term – they have movies on for all the family. The Lego Ninjago movie and Goodbye Christopher Robin have both just been recently released. Cineworld is also screening juniors movies: Despicable Me 3 and Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie. Movies for Juniors start at just £2.00 for a child’s ticket – bargain!

Have you popped our Halloween event in your calendar yet?! It’s on Saturday 28th October 11am until 4pm and there’ll be lots going on – face-painting, entertainment and spooooky stories. Could it get any better? Yep – it’s all free, including the car park! Do make sure you come and see us and share your photos from the day on social media – it’s sure to be a gruesomely good one!

Needing some inspiration? For the kids, M&S have a gorgeous selection of fancy dress outfits – Cat Tutu, Unicorn and Zombie to name but a few. If only they did them for grown-ups! You can read more in their Spookily Cute blog too.

For grown-up Halloween styles check out Dorothy Perkins and New Look, not forgetting the Kat Von D make-up range at Debenhams for something dark, daring and dramatic. Why not try one of the ‘9 Halloween Nail Designs’ from Evans.

Want something delicious to warm you up whilst carving pumpkins and getting ready to go out in the cold? Stock up on Halloween treats for kids and adults at Whittard of Chelsea. We are genuinely quite scared about their ‘Trilogy of Terror Gift Box’!

Staying in with the family or hosting a party for friends? M&S have gone batty this year, with loads of food and tips on how to have a hip Halloween. Why not try bobbing for apples, pumpkin bowling or a Halloween treasure hunt.

We’re exhausted after all that, but hope that you’ll feel the opposite, with all the fun ideas, top tips and our event – Free Halloween Face Painting + Entertainment. Happy Halloween!
